You all did an excellent job in our tides review. We were able to complete our tide notes AND demonstrate high tides, low tides, spring tides, and neap tides. Do not forget to complete your homework; it is due tomorrow. I know some of you were still confused; therefore, I have included a video link to help with understanding in unit 2. This is an additional resource for YOU! If you have any questions and/or still confused, please do not hesitate to ask me; after all, I'm here for YOU! Our next topic will be seasons.
Side Note: You all are AMAZING! See you all tomorrow! It was great seeing everyone back from fall break! I know many of you are excited about our class pet, Shadow. I will be making each of you responsible for him. Today, we discussed what causes tides and the different type of tides. In some classes, we were unable to complete the notes; but we will definitely finish up tides tomorrow. For 1st and 2nd period, make sure you complete the "What Causes Tides in the Ocean?" article; along with the 4 questions and 1 paragraph summary. The "Tides" powerpoint we went over in class is located in unit 2.
See you all tomorrow! |
Here you will find short updated posts that will allow you to know what takes place in class:-)
